Most systems now in use are not online. Operators cannot monitor or adjust aspects of their operations remotely, leading to crop loss and other damage if operators are not on site. This is particularly restrictive to smaller operators, who can never be further than a few hours’ travel from their farms. The Professor continuously collects and logs data to a cloud-based database accessible from any internet connection if desired, and notifies operators of any problems or anomalies. Operators then adjust aspects of their operations from wherever they are, enjoying new mobility and the flexibility to work on multiple projects at once.
